Mel Gibson's 'Edge of Darkness,' 'Avatar''s Titanic Pricetag, BRAVIA HDTV Special Offer
Take a look at the recently released trailer for Mel Gibson's first starring role since 2002's Signs, Edge of Darkness. Gibson hasn't looked this psychotic and strangely determined since, well, the last time we saw him. There's even a scene that brings us way back to his Conspiracy Theory days. Ah, Mel--Always stumbling into abandoned warehouses-turned mental hospitals.
HDTV ALERT!
Starting today, customers who purchase a networked BRAVIA HDTV or Bluy-ray Disc player and register these devices between the dates of November 9, 2009 and January 4th are eligible to receive a free 24-hour rental of the movie Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs four weeks before it is scheduled to be released for rental. The movie can otherwise be rented on previously owned networked BRAVIA HDTVs from December 4th through January 4th, 2010, for a price of $24.95.
AVATAR, UM, ALERT!
In other news, The New York Times published a story yesterday discussing the price tag of James Cameron's 15 year-in-the-making Sci-fi epic, Avatar. The cost: around $500 million. Still, it's Cameron, so he's good for it.
