Short Takes: Joss Whedon Seeks Rights for Terminator; Trailer Park of Persia
According to Cinematical.com, longtime fanboy demigod and Buffy the Vampire Slayer creator Joss Whedon is actively seeking to buy the rights to the Terminator franchise from the bankrupt Halcyon. His letter to the company is also available on the site, where he discusses the many possible directions he would take the Terminator saga, from Middle Earth to gay porn...seriously.
Sadly, only a select group of journalists were able to view the new Prince of Persia trailer, which previewed last Tuesday at Jerry Bruckheimer Films. (No worries, we wouldn't have been able to make it anyway, Brucky.) At any rate, ign.com seemed impressed (probably because they got an invite), and drew obvious comparisons between Prince and Pirates of the Caribbean. Whatever, it's just a trailer. In a few months this stupid trailer featuring a bi-curious wet pirate in frilly clothes will be everywhere and it won't matter. (Why didn't they invite us!?!?!?)
UPDATE! The trailer is now available. Suck it, media with more access than us!
Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time in HD
Other Stuff:
- An interesting opinion from BusinessInsider.com keeps the argument between movie studios and the "digital pirates" going strong.
- Maxim.com asks: What ever happened to self-esteem songs? We personally think they need to "fight to survive" because they're "simply the best" and will "win in the end."

I have read the article based on the Joss Whedon.I agree with the stand that only a select group of journalists were able to view the new Prince of Persia trailer, which previewed last Tuesday at Jerry Bruckheimer Films.

The trailer looks good which may captivate a lot of viewers. It's rare for a game-turned-into-movie to become a great hit. But who knows, since Raimi is directing WoW, maybe other online games like Aion, Vanguard or such will have a movie too.
