7.2.07: Burbank's Kwik-E-Mart

Nothing much ever happens in Burbank, California. But that all changed Monday when the city became one of 11 cities in the U.S. to house a 7-11 convenience store turned Kwik-E-Mart in honor of the July 27 release of The Simpsons Movie. The 11 Kwik-E-Mart locations include New York City; Chicago; Dallas; Denver; Henderson, Nevada; Orlando, Seattle; Bladensburg, Maryland; and three in California - Mountain View, Los Angeles, and of course, Burbank. These stores will be carrying Buzz Cola, Squishees, and Krusty-Os until the end of the July when the film opens on July 27th. "Nothing much ever happens in Burbank." Huh? You wanna tell that to NBC, Warner Bros., Nickelodeon Animation, the Disney Channel, ABC, Walt Disney Co., ALL of which are headquartered in Burbank? Kind of a strange comment -- since when is L.A. and its suburbs cast as Podunk, USA?

The Burbank Kwik-E-Mart is at Olive & Verdugo. 1611 West Olive Avenue.

Burbank sucks! All that's good there is South Street Philly Cheese Steaks and now Kwik E Mart. Their right, Nothing much EVER happens in Burbank.HA!
All those other businesses...not that big of a deal. Once the Kwik E Mart is gone you can have Burbank all to yourself again.
